DIMS offered MCA.
MCA - Master in Computer ApplicationMCA is a 3 year fulltime degree course consisting of six semesters. It covers various aspects of computing, accounting, finance, programming, design and managing networks and databases. Centre for Information TechnologyThe centre conducts activities which helps the students to enhance their abilities. Computer-based training (CBT), Web-based trining, E-learning, IT Seminars by : Project Manager / Software Engineers. Inter / Intra IT Quiz Software Projects through which students can gain live experience to solve Buisness Problems. Every effort is made to keep pace with the technology in IT industry. Latest Vision software are used in imparting software skills to the students. The department has got some of the best equipped labs having expert technicians for their smooth functioning. The lab facilities available are at par with the best research facilities available in few premier institutions all over the region. It is divided into four centre.
EligibilityBachelor’s Degree with not less than 50% of marks in the
aggregate. However, he/she shall have studied Mathematics or Statistics or
Computer Programming/Computer Science/Computer application as one of the
subjects at 10+2 level./ Degree level or Any other examination recognised by
this University as equivalent there to. Selection ProcedureSelection to the programme is based on the qualification & score obtained by the candidate in the State entrance examination and thereafter counselling procedure is conducted / followed successfully as per the University prescribed procedure. The candidates must register at DIMS though an application form, which can be obtained from Institutes campus on working days (Monday to Saturday) between 10:00AM to 4:00PMor Click Here to download.
